Cardiovascular Key Account Manager - Tampa, FL

Amgen seeks a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager for the Tampa and Cape Coral, Florida territory. The role involves developing and executing strategic account plans, building relationships with healthcare decision-makers, and driving utilization of cardiovascular products across complex health systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive account plans aligned with cardiovascular business strategy and institutional needs
- Meet routinely with opinion leaders in cardiology, lipidology, pharmacy, and P&T committees to build strategic partnerships
- Lead implementation initiatives enabling sustainable utilization across inpatient and ambulatory care settings
- Coordinate pull-through and access initiatives with field teams and matrix colleagues
- Monitor account performance, market dynamics, and provide field intelligence to business analytics and brand teams
Requirements
- Doctorate degree with 2+ years sales or account management experience
- Master's degree with 4+ years sales or account management experience
- Bachelor's degree with 6+ years sales or account management experience
- 3+ years account management and/or public payor experience strongly preferred
- Cardiology experience including dyslipidemia, heart failure, and acute coronary syndromes highly preferred
- Knowledge of hospital committee structures, P&T processes, and CMS policies
- Understanding of healthcare reimbursement, payor systems, and internal health system dynamics
