Audit Manager

Job TitleExamine, analyze, and interpret accounting records to prepare financial statements, give advice, or audit and evaluate statements prepared by others. This position has a career path to Partner.Job DescriptionLead and manage multiple existing audit engagements for a diverse client portfolio, including planning, executing, and completing audits in accordance with established audit procedures. Perform risk assessments and develop comprehensive audit plans that address key areas of risk and control within client organizations. Oversee the execution of audit procedures, including evaluating internal controls, testing transactions, analyzing financial statements, and verifying the accuracy of records. Review and analyze audit findings, identifying areas of improvement, and providing recommendations to clients for enhancing operational efficiency and compliance. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, accounting standards, and professional best practices throughout the audit process. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and providing proactive guidance on financial and business-related matters. Supervise, train, and mentor audit staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment while promoting professional growth and development. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging audit practices, and effectively communicate relevant information to clients and team members. Demonstrate a commitment to professional ethics and integrity, upholding the reputation of the firm and maintaining confidentiality of client information.QualificationsA minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a public accounting firm. A bachelor's or advanced degree in business or accounting. CPA requirement. Proven track record of managing and leading a team of professionals preferred. Exceptional client service skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial accounting and audit concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
