Support Associate - Chico's

POSITION OBJECTIVE The Support Associate supports a customer and product-focused sales culture aligned with the company’s core principles, performing sales operations functions such as merchandise handling, stock processing, and stockroom organization. FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Operational Excellence Processes merchandise, ensuring items are properly stored, ticketed, and easily located for replenishment on the sales floor and reorganizes merchandise as needed to maximize stock space. Ensures new products are properly merchandised and represented in a timely manner. Accurately enters all receiving documents into the computer system, reconciles merchandise invoices to items received, and completes store-to-store transfers and location requests promptly. Ensures visual packet materials, props, and signage are received and processed timely, properly storing stockroom hardware, hangers, sign holders, etc. Participates in pricing changes and markdowns. Assists with visual directives—floorsets, window changes, visual presentations, signage placement—as directed. Customer Experience Supports MAPS principles and standards through strong operational processes that enable a cohesive omni-channel customer experience. Teamwork and Growth Promotes an inclusive, collaborative approach to problem solving. Seeks personal developmental opportunities and actively solicits feedback. Assists with boutique cleanliness and organization. Performs other duties as assigned. Courage – addressing difficult issues and speaking candidly. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent. Previous stock or cashier experience preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Ability to learn and adapt to company technology. Ability to work the majority of the shift standing, handle 1–33 % of the shift lifting up to 50 lbs, and climb frequently. Ability to demonstrate teamwork and work quickly within strict timelines. Exposure to visual merchandising and product placement techniques desired. Communicates with customers, associates, and management; wears or communicates using a headset. Regular attendance required; flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Constant walking/standing – 67–100 % of an 8-hour shift. Occasional lifting up to 50 lb – 1–33 % of an 8-hour shift. Frequent climbing – 34–66 % of an 8-hour shift. The wage range for this position is $16.90–$21.10. Successful candidates’ wage rates will be determined based on their individual qualifications for the position. Location: 0317 Del Monte Center.
