Community Liaison

Come join us at Carmel Manor! We are a Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm for over 70 years. Our mission is to treat all staff and residents with love and respect.

We are seeking to hire a Community Liaison Part-Time .

• 8am to 4pm., 3-4 days per week, with the possibility of transitioning to Full-time

The Community Liaison acts as a bridge between the organization and the public. They build trust, share information and manage relationships to promote programs.

Community Liaison Qualifications:

• Strength in marketing, advertising principles, and community outreach.
• Event planning, both large- and small-scale experience needed
• Great verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to talk to diverse groups of people.
• Good problem-solving and conflict resolution habits.
• Experience in public relations, marketing, social work or community outreach needed
• English language required.
• FOR THIS TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT, STATE LAW REQUIRES A CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK AS A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT.

Community Liaison Job Summary:

• Build strong ties with local leaders, groups and residents.
• Represent the organization at public meetings and community events.
• Share clear news about company programs, services or goals
• Listen to public feedback and report community needs back to internal teams
• Help resolve local conflicts or address complaints with care.
