Under the supervision of the surgeon, The Surgical Tech First Assist (ST-FA) is a role whichprovidesadditionalassistance to the surgeon in the Operating Room over and above that normally provided. As defined by the American College of Surgeons (ACS), surgical assistants provide aid in exposure,hemostasis, closure, and other interoperative technical functions that help the surgeon carry out a safer operation withoptimalresults for the patient.In addition, the ST-FA may perform in the role of the Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room as needed. Coordinates the care of the surgical patient with other team members. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and guiding principles.\n

\n Shift: Day Shift | Four 10-Hour Shifts Per Week + Call Rotation
