Employment decisions are made in accordance with applicable law.Required Qualifications & ExperienceAutomotive Service Advisor Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor at a franchised dealership or reputable automotive repair facility.Automotive Knowledge: Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, diagnostic processes, mechanical repairs, and manufacturer-recommended services.Sales Performance: Demonstrated ability to sell customer-pay maintenance and repair services, present estimates, overcome objections professionally, and follow up on declined work.Customer Service Excellence: Proven ability to build customer trust, develop long-term relationships, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex automotive repairs in terms customers can easily understand.Repair Order Management: Ability to write accurate repair orders, document customer concerns, obtain repair authorizations, and manage multiple repair orders simultaneously.Digital Vehicle Inspections: Experience reviewing and presenting digital vehicle inspection results, technician recommendations, photos, and videos to customers.Dealership Software: Familiarity with dealership service management systems, electronic repair orders, appointment scheduling, and customer follow-up tools.Performance-Driven Mindset: Ability to meet or exceed established goals for customer satisfaction, customer-pay sales, hours per repair order, effective labor sales, and service retention.Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with technicians, parts personnel, service management, and other dealership departments.Professionalism & Accountability: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to take ownership of customer concerns from write-up through vehicle delivery.Valid Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets dealership and insurance requirements.Preferred QualificationsFive or more years of automotive Service Advisor experience.Experience working in a high-volume franchised dealership service department.A consistent history of strong sales performance, customer retention, and customer satisfaction.Experience with manufacturer warranty procedures, extended service contracts, and third-party warranty administrators.Knowledge of manufacturer maintenance schedules and vehicle inspection processes.Experience using CRM tools to follow up on declined services, overdue maintenance, and customer retention opportunities.Ability to manage a demanding workload while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and a high level of customer care. #J-18808-Ljbffr
