Position: Occupational Therapist

Shift Details

• Shift: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM
• Schedule: 4 days, 10-hour shifts, or 8-hour shifts with a rotating schedule including weekends
• Day Shift Options: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM or 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Unit Information

• Location: Anchorage, AK
• Unit: Rehab Services
• Number of Beds: 175
• Staffing: 60 therapy providers (Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapy Assistants, and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants)

Job Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapist will provide care in an inpatient acute care setting, delivering high-quality therapeutic services to support patient recovery and rehabilitation.

Requirements

• Acute care experience is a must
• Occupational Therapy Certification is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in inpatient therapy settings

Work Environment

The position involves a high volume of weekend rotations, requiring the therapist to work 2-3 weekends per month. The therapist will be responsible for managing a patient load of 8-10 patients daily.

Dress Code

Light green scrubs are required for this position.
