Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol - Retail Site in Salem OR you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service communicate professionally and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors and employees while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a financial-services location.
• Respond to incidents alarms access-control concerns and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following site procedures and reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas exterior grounds parking areas entrances and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor employee and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific policies maintaining accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Communicate clearly with site contacts emergency responders and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents unusual activity and security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
