Overview This position will administer the Dermatology Residency Program and the Dermatopathology Fellowship Program at multiple sites (USF, TGH, Moffitt, and VA). The Administrator will be the first point of contact and will ensure that all activities and deliverables for these programs are properly completed and that the program remains in compliance with ACGME rules, regulations, and USF Graduate Medical Education policies. The role requires high professionalism, excellent customer service, the ability to multitask, and strong written communication skills. This is a contract position. Responsibilities Administer day-to-day operational activities of the residency/fellowship program and ensure program goals and objectives are accomplished. Plan, direct, and coordinate academic and operational activities to meet accreditation and other regulatory requirements for graduate medical education. Ensure all activities and deliverables are properly completed and that the program remains in compliance with ACGME guidelines and USF GME policies. Interpret organizational and departmental policies, standards, operational procedures, and guidelines for program personnel. Develop operational policies, procedures, and standards, including the goals, objectives, core curriculum, resident manual, and site review documents. Serve as a liaison with residents/fellows, ACGME, GME office, affiliated hospitals, institutions, and other agencies. Manage evaluations for faculty, residents/fellows, program, rotations, and peers. Maintain educational files on all residents/fellows for progress monitoring and future credentialing. Coordinate resident interview activities, including application screening, scheduling, applicant packets, and agendas. Assist the Central GME Office with onboarding program residents/fellows. Create and maintain residency/fellowship block rotation schedules. Monitor resident schedules to ensure compliance with ACGME work‑hour rules and alert appropriate parties of discrepancies. Maintain block and daily schedules for billing purposes and attest to accuracy for monthly billing of affiliates and hospital partners. Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to produce internal and external reports, including accreditation reviews and the Annual Program Evaluation. Write reports and prepare presentations about the academic programs. May be responsible for the program education fund budget and expenses. May supervise program staff personnel. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications A bachelor’s degree and at least two (2) years of experience coordinating medical education programs or accredited residency and/or fellowship programs, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Legal Requirements – Senate Bill 1310 Two years of direct experience for an associate degree; Four years of direct experience for a bachelor’s degree; Six years of direct experience for a master’s degree; Seven years of direct experience for a professional degree; Nine years of direct experience for a doctoral degree. Related work experience may not substitute for required licensure, certification, or registration for the position as established by the public employer.
