About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President, Associate General Counsel to take on a pivotal role in leading a wide array of corporate, securities, governance, and strategic transaction matters. The successful candidate will be a key legal advisor to executive leadership, providing guidance on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures, and other corporate transactions. This includes overseeing SEC reporting, advising on corporate governance, and supporting capital markets activities. The role also involves conducting legal due diligence, negotiating transaction documents, and managing external counsel, as well as partnering with business leaders to identify and mitigate legal, regulatory, and transactional risks. Applicants must have a J.D. from an accredited law school, active bar membership, and significant experience in corporate law, securities law, M&A, and complex commercial transactions. Prior experience in a publicly traded company and/or leading law firm is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of advising executive leadership on strategic business initiatives, possess strong business judgment, and demonstrate excellent communication skills. This is a high-profile leadership position that offers the opportunity to influence corporate strategy and support transformational transactions in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
