Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Summary:
The Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, compassionate patient care within a fast-paced trauma tele unit. This role involves monitoring and assessing patients, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patient conditions utilizing medical remote telemetry monitoring systems.
• Administer and document medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient status and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and industry standards to maintain a safe environment.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and team members to ensure efficient unit operations and patient flow.

Qualifications:

• Valid and active RN license required.
• Current BLS certification is required; CMSRN encouraged.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a telemetry or acute care setting.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Flexibility to sign up for weekend shifts and participate in on-call rotations.
