As a Security Officer in King Of Prussia, PA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate $23.86 / Hour Job Schedule Wednesday 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM How This Role Works Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access control activities, and assigned security‑related duties at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify conditions that may require follow‑up. Monitor entrances, checkpoints, and restricted areas while verifying credentials, maintaining required logs, and reporting security‑related concerns according to post instructions. Support emergency response activities by following site protocols, assisting with directional guidance, and documenting incidents in a clear and timely manner. Minimum Requirements An active DoD Secret Clearance is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR certification is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
