TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Hagerstown, Maryland, 21742!

Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Maryland

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Maryland

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with weekend coverage required (6 weekend shifts per contract period). Patient ratio of 4:1 across all shifts. Expect to work some holidays and weekends. Orientation includes 20 hours plus required online modules.

Highlights:

• High-volume Level II Trauma Center with 54-bed Emergency Department averaging 220 patient visits daily
• Fast-paced, high-acuity environment treating all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• EPIC electronic medical record system in use
• 12-month assignment with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and social services
• STEMI and Stroke Certified facility with exposure to complex cases including CVA, gunshot wounds, and orthopedic trauma
• Two pre-approved time-off periods available during contract

Requirements:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience in Emergency Department setting required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale (pending certifications acceptable at time of submission)
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system required
• COVID-19 vaccination required (no exemptions)
• Flu vaccination and 2-step PPD required (no exemptions)
• Skills must include management of ventilated patients, IV vasopressors, continuous IV sedation, blood product administration, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, procedural sedation, triage, and central line care
