Description: The Analyst will provide analytical, strategic and content development support to the Head of Banking and the Banking COO team. The role supports senior management in evaluating business performance, advancing strategic priorities and communicating the division’s strategy internally and externallyDuties and Responsibilities:Provide analytical and project-management support for strategic growth initiatives, including coverage and client strategy, market and competitive landscape assessments, business planning and new-product and sector initiativesSupport the development of content, research, analysis and presentations for town halls, senior leadership meetings, client events, external speaking engagements and other special eventsMonitor relevant market, industry, competitor and regulatory developments and assess their potential implications for the Banking division, clients and strategic prioritiesDevelop financial models and presentations used to evaluate divisional and group-specific performance, identify trends and support senior management decision-makingSupport marketing the growth of the Banking Division through monthly maintenance of division credentials for pitches and the review and timely distribution of deal announcements following marquee winsSupport the automation of routine reports through coordination with ITCoordinate semiannual business reviews for banking groups and track action plans and follow-up itemsConduct ad hoc financial, strategic and operational analyses in response to senior management priorities and emerging business needsAssist in translating complex financial, market and industry information into clear and concise materials for senior leaders and broader internal and external audiencesRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or another business-related discipline1-3 years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting or a related strategic/business analysis role at a leading firmHigh proficiency with advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPointKnowledge of Bloomberg, Dealogic, Capital IQ, PitchBook, Salesforce, FactSet and Power BIFamiliarity with Claude, AI prompting techniques and review guardrails to optimize efficiencyStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workWorking knowledge of investment and corporate banking or the ability to quickly develop industry expertiseSense of urgency and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlinesAbility to work independently while exercising sound judgment and ownership of deliverablesCollaborative team playerExcellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work weekends when necessaryThe expected base salary for this role will be in the range of $95k-$110k. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
