These are in-house seats sitting close to the CEO/CIO’s office, working on live acquisitions, reinsurance transactions, JVs, and strategic partnerships that shape the direction of the business.If you’re currently in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or actuarial advisory and want to move onto the buy side of a permanent platform, we want to hear from you.What the role involvesEvaluating and executing M&A, reinsurance, and strategic partnership transactionsBuilding and maintaining financial models to assess acquisitions and deal structuresSupporting due diligence workstreams across financial, operational, and regulatory areasDeveloping investment memos and board-level presentations for senior leadershipConducting market and competitor research across insurance, reinsurance, and asset managementPartnering with business unit leaders on strategic planning and capital allocationReviewing inbound opportunities from banks, advisors, and counterpartiesWhat we’re looking for2-4 years’ experience in investment banking (FIG a strong plus), private equity, corporate development, or actuarial/consulting rolesInsurance or reinsurance sector exposure preferred, but not required if the modeling and deal reps are strongAdvanced financial modeling and M&A transaction analysis skillsComfortable presenting analysis to senior stakeholders and investment committeesSelf-starter who can manage multiple live workstreams at onceWhy make the moveThis offers a permanent seat at the table on deals rather than rotating advisory mandates, direct exposure to C-suite and investment committee decision making, and a clearer long-term career path than staying on the sell side.Interested or know someone who fits?
