Roles at this level will be developing foundational legal skills and support senior lawyers with relatively straightforward legal tasks. Their role involves conducting legal research and drafting materials to support matters. Their primary focus is on learning and developing essential transaction and negotiation skills while contributing to the overall matter resolution and day-to-day operations of the team. Responsibilities Conduct research on legal issues, applicable law, and statutes to support case preparation and strategy Draft basic legal documents, including term sheets, non‑disclosure agreements and simple purchase agreements under the guidance of more senior lawyers Organise and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are up‑to‑date and readily accessible Support due diligence processes by organising and reviewing documents Attend negotiations to assist senior lawyers, taking detailed notes and providing pre‑meeting support by drafting agendas and presentation slides Handle basic day‑to‑day communication with clients to gather information and respond to inquiries Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings and filing documents Equal Opportunities White & Case is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and is committed to creating a fair workplace.
