Experience: 1+ year of current X-Ray Tech experience in a hospital setting

License: New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Clienttion Therapy License (or equivalent)

Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS, Active American Registration of Radiologic Technologists ARRT

Must-Have: Must be proficient/highly experienced in Fluoroscopy, Digital Radiography, Portables, and OR c-arm. Must have experience with all age groups.

Description: Positions patient on examining table and adjusts immobilization devices as needed to obtain optimum views of specified areas of the body requested by the physician. Must be capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures. Moves radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment into specified positions and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance. Operates film processing equipment. Operates mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in the operating room, emergency room, or at the patient's bedside. Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff. Ability to prioritize and organize daily workflow. Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills required. Dress code is hospital blue scrubs (provided), business casual with a lab coat, or plain personal scrubs. No hooded sweatshirts allowed. Closed-toe shoes, such as sneakers or clogs, are required. Hair must be worn pulled back if longer than shoulder length, with no dangling earrings. All requested time off during the course of this assignment must be submitted prior to profile upload. Requests for time off after upload will not be approved. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. Traveler must have their own vehicle. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. Requests after the offer may lead to rescinded offers.
