Supply Chain Analyst (SAP) - Houston, TX

Bridge business operations and SAP to drive supply chain performance.Verdant Specialty Solutions is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst (SAP) to serve as the business-facing functional analyst supporting Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning, Inventory, Manufacturing, and Quality processes within our SAP S/4HANA environment. This role partners with business stakeholders and Verdant’s third-party SAP support provider to improve business processes, maintain master data integrity, coordinate system enhancements, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.This position is fully on-site in Houston, TX and requires periodic travel (5–10%) to other Verdant locations.Why You'll Love This RolePartner directly with Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Quality leaders to improve day-to-day operations.Own critical business processes while coordinating ERP enhancements with Verdant's SAP support partner.Drive master data governance, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.Gain broad visibility across multiple manufacturing sites and business functions.What You'll DoGather, analyze, and document business requirements and develop functional specifications.Coordinate SAP enhancements, testing, and deployments with Verdant's third-party SAP support partner.Maintain material, supplier, purchasing, production, and planning master data.Analyze MRP outputs, planning exceptions, inventory availability, shortages, and supply-demand balance.Support SAP procurement activities including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, supplier master data, and goods receipt processes.Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics supporting Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning, Manufacturing, and Quality.Create and maintain ERP procedures, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), document results, and support deployments.Deliver end-user training and provide ongoing functional support.Partner across business functions to improve ERP adoption, master data governance, and operational performance.What Sets You ApartStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Exceptional attention to detail and data integrity.Ability to translate business needs into practical ERP solutions.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Commitment to continuous improvement and standardized business processes.What You BringBachelor's degree in information systems, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.Functional SAP S/4 HANA Public Cloud experience supporting business processes, requirements gathering, testing, master data, or ERP enhancements in a manufacturing environment.Experience supporting one or more SAP functional areas including PP, MM, IM, QM, Procurement, Supply Chain Planning, or Master Data Management.Manufacturing industry experience required; specialty chemical, batch, or process manufacturing experience preferred.Experience creating user documentation, standard operating procedures, and end-user training materials is preferred.About VerdantVerdant Specialty Solutions is a global specialty chemicals manufacturer combining innovation, agility, and operational excellence.
