Pricing Partner RoleDirector-level P&C actuarial role on The Hartford's Personal Insurance actuarial team, focused primarily on Homeowners rate adequacy in Hartford, CT, with hybrid options in Chicago and Charlotte. You'll lead a team, advance pricing methodologies, use statistical modeling and machine learning, and partner with Product, Claims, Reserving, and broader Property Actuarial teams.RequirementsMust have:Undergraduate degree with a major in mathematics, actuarial science or related fieldMinimum 5 years of property and casualty insurance actuarial experienceHigh proficiency in ExcelStrongly preferred:FCAS designationKnowledge of actuarial pricing techniquesExperience with R and SQLEffective oral and written communications skillsIndependently motivatedTeamwork skills including ability to collaborate and influenceNice to have:Homeowners experience is a plusTools: Excel Domain: Homeowners rate adequacy analysis Property and casualty insurance actuarial Actuarial pricing techniques Statistical modeling and machine learning
