The staff accountant will be responsible for debits, credits, journal entries, and assisting with other GL accounting duties. To be successful in this role, you will need to be a problem solver, a critical thinker, and adaptable. What do you need for this Staff Accountant role? Bachelor's Degree in Accounting 0-2 years of professional accounting experience (internship experience in accounting is welcomed) Intermediate Excel What will you do in this Staff Accountant role? Assist with the preparation and posting of journal entries while ensuring debits and credits are accurately recorded. Support the month‑end close process, including reconciliations and financial data review. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting schedules. Identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and support resolution of accounting issues. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather and verify financial information. Support documentation and improvement of accounting processes and procedures.
