Position Overview We are seeking a detail‑oriented Authorization Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for obtaining and managing insurance authorizations for home health services, ensuring timely approvals and seamless coordination of care. Key Responsibilities Obtain prior authorizations for Medicare and other insurance plans for home health services Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits Communicate with insurance providers to ensure timely approvals and resolve authorization issues Track and follow up on pending authorizations to avoid delays in patient careCollaborate with intake, clinical, and billing teams to ensure accurate and complete documentation Maintain up‑to‑date records in the EMR system Ensure compliance with Medicare guidelines and company policies Qualifications Previous experience in healthcare authorizations, intake, or insurance verification (home health experience preferred) Strong understanding of Medicare guidelines and insurance processes Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Strong communication and problem‑solving skills Experience with EMR systems is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
