As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a retail and mall location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, support a welcoming environment for visitors and tenants, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.23 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM Tue: 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, parking areas, exterior perimeters, and other assigned locations. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions taken. Monitor access points, report suspicious activity or property concerns, and help to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence. Communicate with property management, law enforcement, emergency personnel, and Allied Universal leadership as needed regarding security-related incidents and site conditions. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
