Job Opportunity – Cardiac Stepdown RN – South Carolina

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: South Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 36- or 48-hour work weeks available, 4:1 patient ratio, 36 hours of orientation provided

Highlights:

• Strong cardiac stepdown experience required with focus on STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, arrhythmias, CVA, and medical telemetry overflow
• 22-bed progressive care unit with daily census of 20 patients serving adult and geriatric populations
• Must have 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• Paid pre-assignment modules (up to 16 hours reimbursable) to complete orientation requirements
• Two pre-approved time off periods available during assignment

Requirements:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience
• 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Current AHA ACLS and BLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Successful completion of medication and arrhythmia examination
• Experience with 4:1 patient ratios in progressive care or cardiac stepdown setting
• Proficiency in cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, titrating cardiac drips, central line management, and chest tube care
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions available)
