Infrastructure Engineer - Managed File Transfer

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We require formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, along with 2+ years of applied experience.
• We need experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate setting using one or more modern programming languages and database query languages.
• We expect working knowledge of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support infrastructure engineering workflows, with strong validation practices and awareness of data sensitivity.
• We want the ability to review and confirm AI-assisted recommendations before use, escalate when needed, and follow security and data-handling expectations.
• We look for understanding of cloud, virtualization, APIs, and programming languages such as Python, Java, Bash, and Shell.
• We require proficiency in risk and controls practices, with adherence to company-wide standards.
• We need experience configuring and troubleshooting file transfer protocols, ciphers, and encryption methods including FTP, SFTP, FTPS, and AS2.
• We value experience in production support, as well as testing and debugging automated tasks across applications, systems, and infrastructure.
• We look for experience building frameworks that reduce operational toil or technical debt while maintaining high system availability.
• We require knowledge of Linux, shell scripting, PERL scripting, and SQL.
• We expect basic data fluency and automation knowledge.

• We apply technical knowledge to clearly defined assignments, including testing infrastructure performance and confirming that requirements have been met.
• We use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to speed up infrastructure analysis and documentation, validating outputs and handling data according to sensitivity and security rules.
• We drive outcomes by collecting and analyzing monitoring data in test and production environments and completing assignments end to end.
• We carry out daily work with some guidance and within documented parameters.
• We escalate issues to the appropriate leaders when needed.
• We consider upstream and downstream data, systems, and technical impacts.
