Our portfolio includes a wide array of reputable brands like Marriott, Hilton, IHG and Hyatt as well as many unique, independent, boutique and lifestyle properties and restaurants.Essential Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:Guest SatisfactionFocus on creating memorable guest and associate experiencesBe available during peak hours to assist the front desk (Guest Experience) team and interact with guests on a daily basisReview daily arrival lists for special comments, including VIP's. Provide welcome amenities and ensure all special requests are followed up by the front desk teamInteract professionally with guests, clients, and associates in all email, telephone and face to face interactionsRespond within 24 hours to all guest email inquiries and comments.Review Guest Satisfaction Scores using Revinate and respond to guest alerts per AutoCamp SOPExceed expectations of a TripAdvisor score of 4.5 or betterWork closely with GM on special programming to enhance guest experienceCreate wow; provide Guest Delight and Positive First Impressions on a daily basisSales and MarketingMaintain a strong working relationship with sales teamParticipate in the hotel group sales process, primarily being available during busy group periodsBe available for site visits for potential group bookings. Provide a Wow Factor.Assist in providing operational feedback on groups and eventsParticipate in Pre-Con meetings with Leadership Team to review Group Resumes with the client and teamFood, Beverage and RetailEnsure food and beverage offerings are on brand and within budget guidelinesAssist front office team in executing F&B planEnsure the F&B and Retail in the market is fully stocked, organized and merchandised appropriatelyOrder food and beverage supplies weeklyEstablish inventory controls and participate in month-end inventory and as neededCover manager/supervisor shifts as required in Food, Beverage and Retail outletsFront Desk and HousekeepingEnsure proper coverage at the front desk and support team members with guest needs to include receiving and checking guests in or out upon departure.Cover manager/supervisor shifts as required at Front Desk and/or HousekeepingGeneral Property MaintenanceWork closely with GM, Maintenance, and Housekeeping Manager to improve property cleanlinessInspect 5 guest rooms per week to ensure quality and cleanliness. Walk the property daily, and provide feedback to the General Manager.Maintain cleanliness and organization of all public areas, including storeroomsPeople & CultureSupport ongoing culture initiatives on property, including working with property Cultural Ambassadors, scheduling quarterly team member events, and supporting philanthropy projectsCultivate AutoCamp core values and culture by engaging and motivating team membersImplement action plans based on property Happiness Survey resultsRecruit, hire, onboard, train new associates with a focus on cultural fitWork with Leadership Team to drive success across all departmentsMonitor labor and scheduling in adherence to budget guidelinesInsure all associate worker's compensation incidents are documented following SOPInsure all guest incidents are properly documented per SOPPerform quarterly and annual performance reviews per SOPWorks with People and Culture Manager on coaching, counseling and all disciplinary actionsFinanceResponsible for hotel P&L for Rooms (shared by Front Desk & Housekeeping), F&B, and RetailWorks closely with GM & corporate accounting teamFocus on GOP margins and expenses to be in line with budgetReview, approve and input invoices into accounting and expense report systems.Maintain accurate accounting files for each vendorRespond to accounting inquires and chargeback within 24 hoursTake weekly/monthly inventory ordering supplies and operating equipment while adhering to monthly budgetTrack all purchases within budget guidelinesWork with GM for approval of all non-budgeted expensesParticipates in the annual budget process to create operating budgetAssists with execution of annual and quarterly capital expense improvement plansOther Duties include, but not limited toRespond to occasional after hours or emergency calls from guests and addressing issues promptlySpecial projects as assigned by GMParticipate in all conference calls as requiredEducational Requirements and PreferencesStrong verbal and written communication skills, including representing AutoCamp / Field Station and the property with the pressProficiency in Microsoft and Google Suite applicationsStrong math and quantitative reasoning skillsAbility to solve problems in creative ways and with limited resourcesDesired Skills and ExperienceA passion for the great outdoors2+ years management experience in the hospitality industry or related industryThe Right Person Will...Be well groomed and have a keen sense of style and an appreciation for good design.Practice thoroughness and an attention to detail.Possess excellent and attentive customer service.Be a creative problem solver who can find solutions when issues arise.*The hiring process may consist of a phone interview, manager(s) interview, drug screen, background check, reference checks, and potential employment assessment.
