This role oversees day-to-day label repertoire management while driving commercial strategy and operational excellence across VMG’s global infrastructure.The successful candidate will have deep experience across the U.S. and Korean music markets, a strong understanding of commercial opportunities, excellent relationship-building and communication skills, proven organizational discipline, hands-on knowledge of music distribution, and genuine enthusiasm for the intersection of music, pop culture, and technology.How You'll CREATE:Serve as the primary representative and strategic partner for Virgin Music Group’s K-Pop partnersAct as the central communication bridge, ensuring alignment across teams and territoriesAdvise labels on distribution strategy, commercial opportunities, and evolving market dynamicsProvide expert guidance on leveraging Virgin’s platforms, services, and global infrastructureLead priority release planning and execution from inception through post-campaign analysisPartner cross-functionally with Commercial Strategy, Marketing, Catalog, Video, Platform Operations, Insights & Analytics, Sync, Finance, and Legal to ensure seamless executionImplement best practices across release campaigns to optimize performance globallyTranslate internal and external data into insights and actionable growth strategies for artists, labels, and managersOversee digital and physical product logistics to ensure timely and accurate delivery through VMG systemsEnsure metadata integrity and operational excellence across all releasesCollaborate with Commercial Marketing to develop compelling narratives and strategies that drive DSP engagement and visibilityMaintain accountability for timelines, deliverables, and campaign performanceBring Your VIBE:Korean language proficiency is required5+ years of experience in music distribution, label services, record label, management, or related music industry environmentDirect experience and an understanding of K-Pop music and fan cultureDeep understanding of digital distribution, DSP ecosystems, marketing strategy, operations, and metadata requirementsStrong commercial acumen with the ability to identify market opportunities and growth leversData-driven mindset with confidence interpreting analytics and presenting insights to stakeholdersExceptional cross-cultural communication and presentation skills, both written and verbalProven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environmentStrong relationship builder with a collaborative, service-oriented approachCalm under pressure, highly organized, and solutions-focusedPassion for music, culture, and the intersection of technology and entertainmentPerks Playlist:Join an entrepreneurial, global organization where authenticity, boldness, creativity, connection, drive, and insight aren’t just values—they’re how we work every day.
