Internal Medicine Physician

Role: Outpatient Primary Care Physician Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive history and physical exams Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests Prescribe medications and therapies Provide preventive services, screenings, immunizations, and wellness exams Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory conditions Perform minor procedures like suturing and joint injections Educate and counsel patients and families Coordinate referrals and ensure continuity of careSupervise and collaborate with healthcare professionals Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives Follow clinical guidelines and organizational policies Qualifications & Skills MD or DO degree with residency in Family or Internal Medicine Unrestricted medical license and board certification or eligibility DEA registration, BLS (and ACLS if required) Strong diagnostic, decision-making, and communication skills Leadership abilities and team collaboration Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care Cultural competency and community focus Work Environment Outpatient clinics, possibly in private practices or community health centers, with a schedule that may include evenings or weekends and on-call duties based on setting.
