Job Description

As a Production Associate, you will play a vital role in packaging and preparing hay and hay-based products for shipment. You will ensure that products meet quality standards and help maintain a safe, efficient, and positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Package hay-based products to meet quality and weight specifications.
• Operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow all safety and food safety protocols.
• Maintain production rates and assist with line changes as needed.
• Communicate equipment issues to supervisors promptly.

• Production experience - 3+ Years
• Machine Operating experience - 2+ Years
• Mechanical aptitude
• Troubleshooting skills

• Previous production or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs (100 lbs for bulk), including overhead lifting.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and working in dusty environments.
• Ability to read and follow instructions in English.
• Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented production facility with exposure to hay, dust, and varying temperatures. Our environment emphasizes safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Supportive leadership values your voice. The work schedule includes 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM and 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM, with Fridays as needed. Dress code requires high-visibility clothing, closed-toe shoes, and safety glasses (provided except for shoes). No piercings or jewelry allowed, and appropriate work clothes include sweatpants and a shirt with sleeves.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Omaha, NE.

The pay range for this position is $18.34 - $19.34/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Omaha,NE.
