The Medical Director will partner closely with hospital leadership and clinical teams to deliver high-quality patient care, operational excellence, and physician engagement while supporting departmental growth and innovation. Post grad training and/or certification in anything other than EM must be accompanied by certifications in ACLS, ATLS and PALS Clinical Experience: Applicants for initial appointment must be able to demonstrate active practice in and ED in the past 12 months or demonstrate successful completion of a hospital-affiliated accredited residency, special clinical fellowship or research License: Active unrestricted WA license and DEA with WA address along with schedules 2,2N,3,3N,4 & 5 Board Certification: Board Certified in EM, IM or FM through ABMS or AOA Merit Badge: ABEM certified is not required to have life certs: IM and FM need ACLS ATLS & PALS Immunizations: Tdap, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, current season flu vaccine, COVID vaccine documentation Case Log: Applicants for initial appointment may be requested to provide documentation of the number and types of hospital cases during the past 24 months. Applicants have the burden of producing information deemed adequate by the Hospital for a proper evaluation of current competence, and other qualifications and for resolving any doubts.
