job summary:
Seeking a Splicing Technician on 2nd shift for a high growth manufacturing company in the Woburn, MA area.

The Splicer would be responsible for operating and maintaining machines with various blade sizes, using precision tools like calipers and verniers to ensure product quality and meet production goals. You will verify and use the necessary raw materials and equipment to process, prepare, and inspect materials for work orders.

responsibilities:

• Machine Operation and Maintenance: You'll operate various machines, including those with large to small blades, and perform routine maintenance. You'll also use precision measuring tools like calipers and verniers to ensure the quality of your work.

• Production and Quality Control: You will process, prepare, and inspect materials to ensure high-quality output and meet production goals. This includes completing daily documentation and reporting metrics accurately and on time.

• Communication and Collaboration: You'll communicate with different departments and notify leaders and engineers of issues as they arise. You'll also work across various areas like extrusion, molding, trimming, and splicing to support business needs.

• Safety and Continuous Improvement: You'll be responsible for upholding company safety standards, including wearing appropriate PPE when handling chemicals such as MEK, Acetone, Alcohol, Silicone adhesives, and Toluene .

• You'll also support company initiatives like LEAN and the High-Performance Team culture by assisting with training and providing feedback.
