Mental Health - Cook

Cook Position

Keystone Mental Health Services is currently seeking a Cook to join our team of professionals in making a positive difference in the lives of our neighbors and the community.

The Work:

• Provide quality supports to adults with mental illness in a residential home and follow all support plans
• Assist individuals to become more independent, allowing each person in our services to take a lead role in their own rehabilitation process
• Responsible for preparing and cooking all meals
• Responsible for menu planning; adhering to all dietary restrictions and recommendations
• Responsible for meal set up, storage and maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Responsible for shopping, ordering, stocking and tracking items within the program; inventory and purchasing
• Complete daily documentation as required

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 6 months of work experience in mental health field required
• Experience cooking, preparing meals and working in a kitchen environment is required
• Ability to learn and apply proficient computer skills, including the use of software and other web based system.
• Must demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to read, interpret and apply policies and regulations
• Able to pass all required background checks and clearances
• Possess a valid driver's license and have daily access to a properly insured vehicle
