Facilities Assistant-1st shift

Overview We're currently on the look out for a detail-oriented Facilities Assistant-1st shift to help keep our workplace running smoothly. In this role you'll support the day-to-day operations of our facilities, including coordinating office services, monitoring supplies and equipment, and ensuring a safe and well maintained environment for employees and visitors. Location: Poynette, WI (only 20 minutes from Sun Prairie) Shift: M-F 6am-2pm or 7am-3pm (reliable and predictable shift) Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning of common areas, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, interior glass cleaning, trash removal, and overall upkeep Maintain kitchen and breakroom areas, including washing dishes, loading/unloading the dishwasher, cleaning sinks and faucets (including deliming), and grout cleaning as needed Support general groundskeeping and assist with office moves and workspace setups Partner with the Administrative and Human Resources team to support meeting and event setup and breakdown (tables, food, trash, etc.) Follow and apply special sanitation and cleaning protocols as required Qualifications Attention to detail Ability to work independently with limited supervision Ability to handle variety of cleaning solutions Ability to travel between AprilAire locations when required Dependability, trust and accountability Ability to periodically work flexible hours to assist with special events--advice notice is given of these events Ability to lift up to 15 lbs on a regular basis, max would be 30 pounds Willingness to stand on a 7 foot ladder Willingness to use hand tools (screw driver, drill) Ability to communicate via Outlook (such as writing an email) or use a phone to communicate between buildings LinkedIn Tag Claudine Baccheschi #LI-CB1 #J-18808-Ljbffr Aprilaire
