Registered Dietician - Full Time - Day Shift - Macomb

Nutritional Consultant

Act as nutritional consultant and resource to members of the health care team. Provides comprehensive nutritional care including assessment, Nutrition Diagnosis, implementation of a care plan, counseling, education, and evaluation of outcomes to patients, families, and associates. Coordinates various education programs and seminars on nutritional topics.

Education/Experience Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or related field with completion of an ACEND-accredited DPD (Didactic Program in Dietetics) and supervised practice program (dietetic internship) required IF: Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential was obtained prior to January 1, 2024, AND Credential is active and issued by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Master's Degree required with Bachelor's in Dietetics or related field with completion of an ACEND-accredited DPD (Didactic Program in Dietetics) and supervised practice program (dietetic internship) IF: Initial registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) is effective on or after January 1, 2024.
• Advanced Practice Certification preferred.
• Requires the ability to read, write and speak English; use and understand medical terminology.
• Follow oral and written instructions; perform arithmetic calculations.
• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Requires a relatively high level of interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and work with medical, nursing and other health care professionals, patients, and their families.
