Employee Benefits Executive Team Lead Job Summary Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employee Benefits Executive Team Lead to join a team. This is a hybrid role requiring three days in-office per week. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in employee benefits, leadership, and client management. This position combines individual contributions with people leadership responsibilities, including managing a team, overseeing a book of business, handling escalations, and addressing complex client accounts. Compensation Package Total Compensation : $140,000 - $200,000 annually (includes base salary and variable compensation tied to the book of business). Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of 3-4 professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management. Oversee and manage a substantial book of business, ensuring client satisfaction and retention. Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations and complex client inquiries. Maintain a client-facing role, building and nurturing strong relationships with clients. Provide strategic advice and solutions for clients with self-funded plans and groups of 500+ lives. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and operational efficiency. Support the transition to the Epic platform later this year, ensuring a smooth and effective implementation. Qualifications/Requirements Licensure : Active Life and Health (L&H) license is required. Experience : Minimum of 8 years of experience in employee benefits, with a focus on self-funded plans and managing groups of 500+ lives. Proven experience in people management, including leading and developing teams. Strong client-facing skills with the ability to handle escalations and complex accounts effectively. Familiarity with BenefitPoint and/or Epic platforms is a plus. Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
