Make a meaningful difference by working as a Physical Therapist in a dynamic school environment near Hopewell Junction, NY. This contract opportunity allows you to provide individualized care to two medically fragile students at North Salem Middle/High School. With a manageable caseload and set weekly sessions (3x30 minutes per student), you’ll have the chance to focus on quality interventions, student progress, and collaborative care.

You’ll join a supportive educational setting, working directly with students who benefit from your expertise and compassionate approach. This ongoing assignment starts October 1, 2026, offering stability and the satisfaction of seeing lasting results over time.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in New York State
• Previous experience in school-based settings or pediatric populations preferred
• Knowledge of adapting PT interventions for medically fragile children
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with staff, families, and healthcare providers
• Strong organizational abilities to develop and document care plans

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver in-person physical therapy services to 2 students, 3 sessions of 30 minutes each, per student, per week
• Assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions tailored to each student’s needs
• Collaborate with school teams, nurses, and families to ensure optimal care
• Track progress and maintain documentation in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
• Adapt strategies based on ongoing student evaluation
