This position is located in Albany OR.

Position Summary

The PM Field Mechanic will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance services on equipment utilized in many industries for customers fleets. This position will also be responsible to identify and perform minor repairs to ensure the customers fleet is running at optimal levels.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform scheduled planned maintenance (P.M.) on Holt AG Solution equipment both on-site and in shop.

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of work performed.
• Oil and filter replacement in a timely manner.
• Oil sampling of all major compartments.
• Proper disposal of waste oil and used filters.
• Ability to inspect machine while servicing and provide potential repair list.
• Constant communication with customers in a positive and pro-active manner.
• Track and record services utilizing system software.
• Perform inspections and maintenance on service truck when needed.
• Transport waste oil and keep detailed records of manifest documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to fulfill the essential functions of the job in a safe manner and a consistent state of alertness.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Education and/or Experience

High school OR GED and/or three to five years of Agriculture equipment experience are required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must have a valid driver license class A. Must have a clean D.M.V. report

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle and feel objects, tools, and controls and to reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee frequently works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Compensation

Wage Range $25 to $30 Hourly. Wage depends on knowledge, skills and ability to perform the responsibilities of the job.
