Data Engineer

Own the direction of our data platform and build it yourself. You will define the data engineering roadmap, develop pipelines and models hands‑on, and set the standards that keep our data reliable, governed, and usable. Responsibilities: Define and drive the data platform roadmap across ingestion, transformation, and serving. Stay hands‑on: design and build pipelines and data models in Snowflake on AWS. Establish standards and best practices for data modeling, quality, testing, lineage, and governance. Build reliable ingestion from product and vendor sources such as Piano, Sailthru, and GraphQL services. Make data accessible and trustworthy for analytics and reporting in Domo and Snowflake. Instrument pipeline observability and alerting (Datadog, VictorOps), and mentor data engineers. Requirements: Extensive experience designing and operating production data platforms and pipelines. Deep Snowflake and SQL expertise plus strong data modeling fundamentals. Hands‑on experience with AWS, orchestration, and modern ELT/transformation tooling. A track record of setting data technical direction while remaining a strong hands‑on contributor. Proficiency with AI‑assisted development tooling and sound judgment on its output.
