Insurance Billing Specialist

Landmark Management Solutions is a New England based owner, operator and management services provider dedicated to the Seniors Housing & Rehabilitative Care Industry with a concentration and specialized resource capacity in the skilled nursing sector. Landmark is currently looking to add an experienced Insurance Billing Specialist to join our finance team, supporting five skilled nursing facilities throughout the state. This is a full-time, on-site position in Haverhill, MA. The position will report directly to the Director of Revenue Management and will serve as an important billing resource to the Owner and CFO as well as the Corporate Management and Center Operations Teams. The successful candidate must be able to multi-task while meeting time-sensitive deadlines. Responsibilities Submit and follow up on managed care and commercial insurance claims Review remittances, denials, rejections, and underpayments Correct and resubmit claims as needed Complete account reconciliation Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable Communicate with insurance payers and facility teams to resolve billing issues Qualifications Strong knowledge of managed care and commercial insurance claims Experience with claim follow-up, denials, authorizations, and payment reconciliation Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through Previous Skilled Nursing Facility insurance billing experience helpful Extremely strong computer skills – experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and billing software, standard office applications like Microsoft Excel and Word, and medical coding systems. Strong, accurate data entry and the ability to navigate insurance web portals are required to submit claims and track reimbursements without errors PCC and Waystar experience preferred Why Join Our Team Competitive compensation package.
