Description: The unit consists of 10 beds with a patient ratio of 3:1. Staff includes RNs, LPNs, PCTs, Recreational Therapists, and Social Workers. Equipment available includes mechanical lifts and Sara Steady. The documentation system used is Meditech Expanse. The scheduling requirement involves 12-hour shifts from 6 am to 6 pm and 6 pm to 6 am. Floating is occasional and often involves helper roles. This unit supports a positive patient experience. There are no specific procedures performed on the unit. The dress code requires scrubs of any color. The unit is family-oriented and offers a supportive environment. Multiple staff members have over five years of tenure. There are also staff members with over five years of psychiatric experience. A recreational therapist is available to assist with daily groups. A social worker is on staff to help with discharge planning. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for a collaborative and experienced team.
