Receiving Supervisor

Pay Range $21.00 - $28.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. The Receiving Supervisor reports to the Plant Manager. Responsibilities Administrative Functions: Maintain and enforce company policy and discipline procedures. Working with leads to develop, implement, and monitor initial and continuing training procedures. Maintain employee shift schedules and approve employee vacation requests. Monitor and review time clock entries, pertaining to payroll, breaks, and lunches. Process timecard corrections daily, including attendance paperwork. Schedule and conduct safety meetings, process safety reporting, monitor and attain safe working environment. Conduct performance reviews, create and monitor development and improvement plans and compensation reviews in coordination with Human Resources Receiving Functions: Responsible for the receipt, count, quality inspection and labeling of raw materials and subcontract parts from vendors. Call vendors on past due dates and update Vantage. Complete all receiving data entry. Resolves receiving to purchase order discrepancies. Process damage material returns. Resolve unclear materials issues with Engineering and Purchasing Maintains the procedures for quality inspections and returns of damaged goods. Responsible for the proper storage, security, and count of raw materials and subcontract parts from vendors Maintains a complete understanding of current software systems used to track and enter receipts for use in inventory control, job cost, and accounts payable. Coordinates the picking and distribution of inventory to various work centers throughout the plant according to job pick lists and the production schedule. Receive and record leftover material from production, coordinating with purchasing, engineering, and receiving back to inventory of returning the materials to the vendor. Coordinates with the Plant, Engineering, Purchasing, and Accounting to communicate errors and discrepancies of the job pick lists or in the inventory count. Stores, tracks, and distributes shop supplies. Responsible for the inventory piece and cycle counts on a regularly scheduled basis. Coordinates the recording of rework material requirements of inventory and job cost purposes and communicates material reorder needs to purchasing Requirements 3+ years’ experience in working receivables in a job shop environment 3+ years’ experience supervising employees Excellent verbal and written communications Problem analysis and resolution Strong Leadership skills Computer literate Forklift license/experience.
