The Department of English at Wesleyan University seeks a scholar-teacher of early modern literature for a tenure-track appointment beginning July 1, 2027. We are open to candidates with comparative approaches.Wesleyan faculty have a strong commitment to both undergraduate teaching and scholarship. Candidates for this position should be actively engaged in scholarly research and writing and prepared to teach four literature courses per year (two per semester) to undergraduates, in person on Wesleyan’s campus.
