Technician II, A&P

The Technician II, A&P is responsible for performing basic maintenance tasks without supervision. The Technician II, A&P is responsible for performing intermediate/heavy maintenance tasks with little supervision. The Technician II, A&P performs flight control and engine throttle rigging. The Technician II, A&P uses FAA approved data proficiently. The Technician II, A&P ensures work performed adheres to high quality standards. The Technician II, A&P effectively directs the work of less experienced mechanics. All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Must have a minimum of 3 years related experience and/or training. A&P License preferred, but not required. Computer keypunch experience. Previous experience in warehousing, handling inventory, and bar code equipment.

Physical demands and work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility. The environmental characteristic for this position is a warehouse setting. Candidates should be able to adapt to a traditional warehouse environment.
