Job Description Maintenance Technician l Romeoville, IL 9am to 5:30pm Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 Depending on Experience Job Purpose: Responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and facility assets within a logistics center while supporting safe operations and maintaining equipment quality. Key Responsibilities Perform assisted and occasionally unassisted preventative maintenance and repairs on all equipment and building assets within the logistics center Learn and support maintenance of conveyor systems using conveyor control software Safely learn and work with electrical systems ranging from 24VDC to 480V 3-phase Ability to assist with the removal and installation of equipment Assist in maintaining all spare parts inventory Learn and operate computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) Maintain assigned tools and ensure they remain in good working condition Maintain a clean and quality appearance of all equipment and facility assets Follow all Lock Out-Tag Out (LOTO) procedures, including execution and recordkeeping Meets all attendance policy and lead by example for all safety standards Perform other duties as assigned by Management Qualifications (Required) High school diploma or GED preferred 1–3 years of industrial or commercial maintenance experience Ability to replace and diagnose AC/DC electric motors, mechanical drives, and gearboxes under the guidance of an experienced technician Basic mechanical repair experience and troubleshooting abilities to include bearings, chains, and belts Skills & Knowledge Able to gain a working knowledge of hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, fire suppression systems, conveyor systems Ability to learn conveyor systems using conveyor control software Able to safely learn various electrical systems ranging from 24VDC to 480V 3phase Capable of learning robotics and automation equipment Ability to learn and operate computerized maintenance management software (CMMS) Physical Requirements Physically able to stand, climb ladders, crouch, crawl and lift 50lbs unassisted for extended time periods Work Environment & Schedule Able to keep non-standard hours, work overtime, and be available on call occasionally Values At TD SYNNEX, our values guide everything we do: Together, We Own It, We Dare to Go, We Grow and Win, and above all, We Do the Right Thing.
