Real World Evidence Manager

Real World Evidence Manager at Vertex Pharmaceuticals supports cross-functional epidemiologic research to assess natural history and real world outcomes for pipeline and portfolio products. The role provides methodological and analytical support to clinical development, medical affairs, and regulatory teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute epidemiologic research including natural history studies and literature reviews
- Assess feasibility of data sources and select appropriate analytic methods for research questions
- Ensure scientific rigor in real world data analyses and communicate findings to internal stakeholders
- Manage vendors and support observational study execution teams to meet project timelines
- Develop conference abstracts, presentations, and peer-reviewed manuscripts on RWE study findings
Requirements
- PhD preferred, or MS/MPH in epidemiology, biostatistics, health economics, or similar
- Formal graduate training in epidemiology or health services research
- Minimum 2 years observational research experience in life sciences industry or related environment
- Strong knowledge of RWE regulatory guidance and observational study design
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with diverse audiences
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate in matrix environments
Compensation: $132,100 - $198,100 base
