Construction Field Supervisors are expected to: Work with in-house designers to install landscapes by leading and instructing teams to produce excellent and profitable products. Manage all aspects of the project to include hardscape, softscape, lighting, irrigation, subcontractors and vendor communication. Manage multiple ongoing projects simultaneously. Teach and train team members to ensure proper procedures, processes and quality of work are followed and achieved. Direct, oversee and participate in work performed by your team. This is a very hands-on position and requires candidates to perform any task they would ask their team to do. You will be expected to work alongside the team. Assist with creating production and project schedule deadlines. Maintain and care for company equipment, tools and vehicles. Forecast equipment, labor and material needs to ensure efficient production. Create daily schedules for the crews which includes some weekend work, rain days Process work orders/receipts Organize & implement safety training/protocol while promoting job-site safety Review, approve and close work tickets in a timely manner. Maintain a clean and orderly job site, including the office and yard. Use time tracking software to approve crew hours Attend training classes and seminars as determined necessary. Experienced required: 5 years landscape construction experience preferred, 3 years minimum. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license with a clean DMVR. Must be self-motivated and possess strong leadership skills. Must be professional in appearance and actions. Must be detail oriented and quality driven. Must be well organized with strong communication skills (Written and verbal) and ability to multitask. Must have the ability to be proactive, plan ahead and problem solve to minimize disruption, errors, risks and keep work-flow on-task, within budget and on-time. Absolute essential ability to work independently or as part of a team. Fluent English is required, fluent Spanish is a plus.
