Small Engine Mechanic / Shop Foreman Full-Time
Location: Summerville, SC
Schedule: MondayFriday, Flexible Hours (7:00 AM3:00 PM or 10:00 AM6:00 PM)

Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Small Engine Mechanic / Shop Foreman to join our team in Summerville . In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our fleet, shop operations, and small engine equipment to keep our field operations running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee shop operations, fleet, and equipment maintenance

• Perform preventive and routine maintenance on small engines, lawn care machinery, and company vehicles

• Handle occasional on-site/roadside equipment and vehicle repairs

• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records

• Ensure all vehicles requiring DOT inspections are up to date

• Manage and track shop inventory and parts ordering

• Ensure shop safety, cleanliness, and operational readiness

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Drivers License
  Applicants with a South Carolina drivers license are preferred to bring their driving record.
  Applicants with an out-of-state license must provide their driving record at the time of the scheduled interview.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in small engine or vehicle servicing

• Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting ability

• A demonstrated work ethic and ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

• ASE Certification (light or medium-duty trucks gas and diesel)

• Familiarity with DOT regulations and inspection requirements

• Ability to maintain parts inventory and order supplies

• Experience working with chemicals and pumping systems

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)

• Coachable mindset and willingness to grow

• Must be able to provide personal tools

• Customer service experience is a plus

Job Details:

• Full-Time (MondayFriday)

• 8-hour shifts with flexible scheduling (7:00 AM3:00 PM or 10:00 AM6:00 PM)
