Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales & Events Manager role based in Clearfield, Utah. The Event Sales Manager will drive private event revenue by prospecting and responding to leads, conducting tours, preparing proposals, and closing event contracts. Each day, this role will coordinate closely with operations, culinary, and service teams to plan and execute events, ensuring all details are communicated clearly and delivered as promised. Responsibilities include managing the event calendar, creating event packages, handling client correspondence, and overseeing event-related billing and follow-up. The Event Sales Manager will also build and maintain relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and repeat clients, while tracking performance metrics and providing regular sales updates to leadership.

Qualifications

• Event Planning and Event Management skills to design, organize, and coordinate private events from inquiry through post-event follow-up.
• Sales and Private Events experience to generate leads, negotiate contracts, meet revenue targets, and grow repeat and referral business.
• Strong Communication skills for client-facing interactions, internal coordination, presentations, and clear written documentation of event details.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Experience in hospitality, restaurants, entertainment venues, or golf-related businesses is preferred.
• Comfort using CRM or event management software, along with basic proficiency in standard office productivity tools.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in hospitality, business, or a related field is a plus.
