Customer Support Specialist

Customer Service Representative Location: Swedesboro, NJ (On-Site) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Pay Rate: $24.00/hour Employment Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire About the Role We are seeking an entry-level Customer Service Representative to support spare parts operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills who enjoys coordinating orders, working with multiple departments, and providing excellent support to customers. Responsibilities Answer customer phone calls regarding spare parts inquiries Prepare and deliver spare parts quotations Process customer orders and purchase orders Place part orders with suppliers and monitor order status Follow up on delivery timelines and communicate updates to customers Process customer invoicing Review electrical and mechanical drawings to identify spare parts as needed Track warranty items and returned parts Review service reports for parts requirements Verify spare parts pricing and compare supplier quotes Provide administrative support to Purchasing and After-Sales teams Qualifications Required: Customer service experience Experience with order entry, order processing, or invoicing Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Excel Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work effectively across multiple departments Preferred: Experience reading blueprints, electrical drawings, or mechanical drawings Manufacturing or industrial environment experience Work Environment On-site position in a manufacturing/office setting Not a call center environment Collaborative team supporting customers, production, and suppliers Benefits Eligible employees may receive: Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with pre-tax and Roth options Life insurance Short- and long-term disability coverage Health Savings Account (HSA) Employee Assistance Program Paid time off and leave benefits Additional voluntary benefits including critical illness and accident coverage If you have customer service experience and enjoy coordinating orders while supporting customers in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.
