Packaging Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Bindery & Shipping Support Specialist to join our team ahead of our peak season. This fast‑paced role involves essential hands‑on tasks supporting machine operations, product packaging, and mailing prep. Candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic and attention to detail will have the opportunity to advance into a Machine Operator role. Key Responsibilities Machine Support: Load materials into bindery equipment and clear finished products efficiently. Packing & Staging: Pack finished goods into boxes, organize materials onto skids, and secure loads using strapping or shrink‑wrapping (arpacing). Mailing Prep: Perform hand shipments, sort items, and apply labeling accurately to prepare products for mail distribution. General Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in the bindery and shipping department. Requirements & Physical Demands Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and remain on your feet for the duration of the shift. Dress Code & Safety Standards: Closed‑toe shoes required; no long‑sleeved shirts allowed near machinery for safety compliance. Punctuality & Schedule: Reliable attendance for standard shift hours, with availability for Saturday overtime as needed. Pay Rate:$18.00/hr+ (Commensurate with experience; up to $20.00/hr max). Shift: First Shift | Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Saturday overtime as needed). Location: Hooksett NH. Salary: $18 - $20 per hour. Work hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM. Education: High School.
