Registered Nurse (RN)/Trainer - Indefinite Contract, Park Ridge Job Description LSSI is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN)/Trainer - Indefinite Contract in Park Ridge to work 1-2 days out of the week to maintain excellent oversight of the client’s healthcare including training of direct support personnel and follow DHS requirements. SALARY : $40-45/hourly Essential Functions: Train staff to supervise client self-administration of medications. Prepare nursing service packets and other client paperwork. Prepare and administer injections and treatments as needed. Examine client’s vital signs and symptoms of disease. Oversee medication cabinet for proper storage control. Keep records needed for DHS. Review MARS bi-monthly. Liaison with doctors, nurses, and/or pharmaceutical staff if needed. Other duties as assigned. Position Qualifications: Current RN license. Ability to complete the DHS Nurse Trainer Training within 3 months of hire. Ability to communicate well.
